Cornerback will take time off from training camp to go to London. Terry McCormick
Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Aaron Ross will miss a few days of training camp officially now that his wife, Sanya Richards-Ross, has qualifed for the U.S. Olympic team.
Richards-Ross ran a meet record 49.28 seconds time in the 400 meters in the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., and will be on her way to London to compete later this summer.
Ross, says the Florida Times-Union, was given permission back in April to leave training camp to watch his wife run in the event she qualfied for the Olympic squad. Now that that has come to fruition, Ross will accompany her abroad for the competition.
