The Jacksonville Jaguars were awarded linebacker Allen Bradford off waivers from the New York Giants.

The 5-foot-11, 235-pounder is a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers sixth-rounder in 2011 as a running back out of USC.

He has also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks.

He played in one game as a rookie with the Buccaneers before he was waived on Oct. 11, 2011 and claimed by the Seahawks as a running back. He was released two days later and signed as a linebacker to the  practice squad where he finished the season.

Bradford spent the majority of the 2012 season on the Seahawks practice squad where he played under Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley. He was waived on Sept. 12, 2013 and claimed off waivers by the Giants where he played in a career-high 10 games, mostly seeing action on special teams.

A native of San Bernardino, California, Bradford played running back under current Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll at Southern California, finishing his career with 1,585 rushing yards on 267 carries and 16 touchdowns.
