Matthews, three others join practice squad Aaron Wilson
The Jacksonville Jaguars completed their trade for cornerback David Jones in exchange for safety Reggie Nelson and a conditional draft pick to the Cincinnai Bengals as he passed his physical.
The Jaguars were awarded defensive tackle Landon Cohen off waivers from the Detroit Lions. And offensive lineman Paul McQuistan was released to create a roster spot for Cohen. T
he Jaguars also signed four players to their practice squad and are expected to sign four more on Monday.
Cohen played in 24 games with four starts for the Lions the last two seasons. He was originally a seventh-round draft pick in the 2008 draft. He started four of 14 games last season and finished with 23 tackles and one forced fumble. As a rookie, he appeared in six games and totaled six tackles.
The Jaguars signed the following players ot the practice squad:
Daniel Baldridge, OT, Marshall
Mike Caussin, TE, James Madison
John Matthews, WR, San Diego
Kommonyan Quaye, DT, South Dakota
