The Jacksonville Jaguars had a promotion Thursday morning for three hours, offering two free beers for fans who purchased tickets for Sunday's home game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Fans who bought tickets through the promotion had to be at least 21 years old, of course.
At 0-3, the Jaguars have to do something to attract fans. Playing for the No. 1 pick in 2014 isn't exactly a great marketing campaign while you're in the midst of it. However, if it works out and the Jaguars can get the right guy next year, then perhaps they won't have to resort to free beer promotions to sell tickets in future years.
