Kicker hoping to return to Jacksonville. Terry McCormick
The Jacksonville Jaguars have opened preliminary discussions with kicker Josh Scobee on a contract extension.
According to the Florida Times-Union, Scobee is one of the Jaguars' top priorities this off-season.
The kicker, whose contract is set to expire next monh absent a new deal, had a 92 percent accuracy rate this year for the Jaguars. There is the possibility that the Jags could use the franchise tag on Scobee if a long-term extension cannot be worked out before free agency begins on March 13.
