Running back has missed most of the season with a foot injury. Terry McCormick
In a curious move, to say the least, the Jacksonville Jaguars have placed running back Maurice Jones-Drew on injured reserve with a foot injury that has kept him out of all but five games this year.
MJD has missed nine games since suffering the injury on Oct. 21 against the Oakland Raiders, but the Jaguars have waited until the final week of the season to shut him down. To fill the roster spot, the Jaguars signed defensive tackle Jerome Long off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad.
