Linebacker shuffle in Jacksonville Aaron Wilson
The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran linebacker Alvin Bowen and placed linebacker Freddy Keiaho on injured reserve.
Bowen was cut by the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 17.
A former Buffalo Bills fifth-round draft pick, the 6-foot-1, 222-pounder has previous stints with the Bills, Washington Redskins and the Seahawks.
He opened last season on the Bills' practice squad before he was waived in September.
He was signed to the Redskins' practice squad two days later where he spent 10 weeks before he was promoted to the active roster on Nov. 30.
Bowen was a two-time All-Big 12 first-team selection at Iowa State. He led the team in tackles his final two seasons with 99 tackles as a senior and a career-high 155 tackles as a junior.
