The Jacksonville Jaguars signed former New York Jets and Cleveland Browns quarterback Brett Ratliff to the practice squad.
They also signed linebacker Alvin Bowen and center Bradley Vierling, who were with the club in the preseason. They also signed rookie cornerback John Destin.
Ratliff, 6-foot-4, 224 pounds, was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the New York Jets in 2007 and he spent the season on the club’s practice squad.
He was inactive as the club’s third quarterback for all 16 games in 2008. He was traded to the Browns last year and spent the entire season on the active roster.
Destin, 5-11, 191, spent the preseason with the Bills after signing as an undrafted rookie. He was a three-year letterman at Tulsa.
