The Jacksonville Jaguars signed rookie center Patrick Lewis off the Cleveland Browns' practice squad and promoted offensive guard Drew Nowak from the Jaguars' practice squad.
Wide receiver Cecil Shorts (groin) and offensive guard Will Rackley (concussion) were placed on injured reserve.
The Jaguars signed defensive end D'Aundre Reed to the practice squad.
Nowak spent the first 15 weeks on the Jaguars' practice squad this season.
Lewis was originally signed as a rookie free agent by Green Bay and spent the preseason with the Packers before he was waived on final cuts. He was claimed off waivers by Cleveland and spent 12 weeks on the Browns active roster but did not see action in a game. He was waived on Nov. 26 and signed to the Browns practice squad on Nov. 29.
Reed was a seventh-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2011 and spent two seasons with the club before he was waived on final cuts this year.
