The Jaguars have signed running back Delone Carter to their active roster, according to the Florida Times-Union.
Carter was a former 2011 fourth-round pick by the Colts organization, who was traded to the Ravens during the preseason. He was subsequently released before the regular season began.
Carter has been brought on for depth reasons, as the Jaguars moved running back Justin Forsett (foot) to the injured reserve list. Maurice Jones-Drew is also banged up with a hamstring injury.
The Jaguars also moved receiver Stephen Burton to the injured reserve list as he's been battling adverse symptoms from a concussion for most of the year.
