The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Wednesday that they have released veteran tight end Stephen Spach, whom they signed just a week ago.
To replace him on the roster, the Jaguars added Maurice Stovall, who has previously been a wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions in his seven-year career. The Jaguars, however, plan to use the veteran as a tight end.
