The Jacksonville Jaguars are hoping to reverse their history of blackouts.
According to the Florida Times-Union, ticket sales are beginning to pick up in Jacksonville.
Per the report, the renewal rate is at about 48 percent with another 5,500 in new season ticket sales.
There's still a lot of work left to be done, though.
The Jaguars would need to sell or renew roughly 33,500 seats over the next five months to avoid blackouts.
“Renewals are much better, and new sales are way ahead of last year,” Jaguars senior vice president of business development Tim Connolly said. “But the thing is we still have a long way to go. Renewals are critical, and we’re coming down the stretch.”
