The Jacksonville Jaguars will repeal the teal for the 2013 season, says John Oehser of Jaguars.com.

By going to the black uniforms, the Jaguars join the Steelers, Raiders, Saints, Panthers and Falcons as having black as one of their main colors in their uniforms.

The question for the Jaguars is whether the change in color scheme will result in more sales of jerseys and make the small market team any more popular.

I'm fairly sure that the Ravens are called "the purple AND BLACK" because of the prominence of black on their hideous uniforms.

I bet the players would LOVE to be running around in black uniforms on a hot and humid Jacksonville afternoon.
