Former Panthers quarterback set to met with team officials on Thursday Aaron Wilson
Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme is scheduled to visit the Cleveland Browns on Thursday after being cut last week.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Delhomme could push for the starting job.
Delhomme struggled mightily last season, but had a good winning percentage overall with a 58-40 all-time record.
The Browns traded for Seneca Wallace this week and cut Derek Anderson.
There are rumors that Brady Quinn is being shopped around the league.
Delhomme, 35, was cut even though $12.5 million in guaranteed money was owed him.
Delhomme threw 18 interceptions last season.
The Panthers installed Matt Moore as the new starter.
It's a new day in Cleveland, too, with lots of changes afoot since the arrival of a new regime run by team president Mike Holmgren.

Brady is through in Cleveland. Wallace and Delhomme? Not much. The Browns should get off the pot and go get Troy Smith, a legit starting QB, not franchise, but good enough to win some games until you get the franchise.
