Titans quarterback Jake Locker is entering a contract year.
Therefore, he needs his recovery to remain on track if he wants the chance to remain the starting quarterback in Tennessee for a while. Conversing with The Tennesseean, Locker said surgery to remove screws from an original Lisfranc procedure went well, and that he's no longer in a walking boot.
“Surgery went really well. Foot feels awesome and rehab is up and rolling,” Locker told the newspaper in a text message. “Doctors were happy with how things looked so [I’m] just continuing to follow that trend.”
In his three previous years, Locker has failed to appear in all 16 games. He's totaled 3,974 yards, 22 touchdowns and 15 interceptions during that span.
