Janikowski suffers groin injury
Raiders kicker leaves preseason game against Lions. Terry McCormick
Sebastian Janikowski suffered a groin injury, the Oakland Raiders announced during Saturday night's preseason game against the Detroit Lions.
Janikowski apparently suffered the injury on a kickoff when he came up limping following his kick.
Rookie Eddy Carmona finished up for Janikowki, who was held out of the rest of the game as a precaution. Carmona wound up nailing a 56-yard field goal.
