Tight end's deal includes $19 million guaranteed Brad Biggs
Jared Cook was at the top of the market for tight ends in free agency and his new deal with the St. Louis Rams reflects that.
Cook’s five-year contract is worth $35.1 million and includes $19 million guarantees, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseean. The Titans had hoped to retain Cook but perhaps that price with average annual pay of $7.02 million was too rich.
Martellus Bennett also struck on the first day of free agency. His four-year contract with the Chicago Bears is worth $20 million, according to ESPN, putting him a ways behind Cook.
