The Kansas City Chiefs have signed restricted free agent safety Jarrad Page to his one-year tender.
Page has repeatedly requested a trade and was a no-show for the entire offseason program, minicamps as well as training camp.
The 6-foot, 225-pounder has played in 53 games with 39 starts with Kansas City, registering 204 tackles, 179 solos, one sack, 10 interceptions for 69 yards, 24 pass deflections, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and 17 special teams tackles.
The Oakland native entered the NFL as a seventh-round draft pick of the Chiefs in 2006 out of UCLA.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs cut the following seven players: tight end Leroy Banks, wide recever Rich Gunnell, offensive guard-center Lemuel Jeanpierre, offensive lineman Ikechuku Ndukwe, cornerback Mike Richardson, linebacker John Russell and offensive guard Dan Santucci.
