In her sitdown with ABC’s “Good Morning America” that will air Tuesday morning, Jenn Sterger says she hasn’t made a cent off the publicity from the Brett Favre alleged sexting incidents that blew up this last season.

Sterger, in her first interview since Deadspin splashed the story (and alleged pictures of Favre’s privates) all over the Internet, said she just wanted to do her job for the New York Jets.

Favre played for the New York Jets in 2008 when Sterger was an in-house sideline reporter for the team.

“I haven't made a dime off anything in this whole situation,” she said. “Not from the pictures. Not from Favre. I never wanted to sue anyone. That was never an intention of mine.

"I'm not a gold-digger. The only way I wanted to make my money this whole time was to just have a job.”

Of course, speculation was rampant last fall that Sterger was stalling in meeting with NFL officials because she and her manager were hoping to receive a sizeable settlement from Favre to make the whole thing disappear.

Ultimately, Favre admitted to leaving some voice mail messages but denied sending any pictures.

“Wanted to have you come over tonight -- love to see you tonight," Favre allegedly said in one voice mail.

Sterger claims she doesn’t know how Favre got her telephone number.

"I was approached one day at the beginning of the pre-season games, by a man wearing a Jets badge, employee badge, who asked me, 'How would you feel if Brett Favre asked for your phone number? What would you say?'” Sterger said. “And I just looked at him, my usual smartass self. And I said, 'I'd say I like my job an awful lot. And I've been told I look remarkably like his wife.’”

Favre, with the Minnesota Vikings, was fined $50,000 by the NFL just before the end of the regular season, his final one in the NFL. Commissioner Roger Goodell found he was less than forthcoming. The show Sterger was a part of on Versus was cancelled because of failing ratings.

“You know, I was trying to go to work. Do my job," she said. "But how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news? It was tough. It was embarrassing. It was humiliating.”

The Sterger interview will air at 7 a.m. (EST) on Tuesday and Wednesday and on “Nightline” at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday.
