Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin went down with what appears to be a serious injury and was carted off the field.
It's feared that he tore his anterior cruciate ligament, according to reports.
Maclin was "writhing in pain," according to Comcast Philadelphia.
And the Philadelphia Inquirer had a similar take, writing: "Does not look good."
Both Eagles coach Chip Kelly and general manager Howie Roseman checked on Maclin, a former first-round draft pick who was expected to have a more prominent role this season.
Now, that season is in doubt.
