Jeremy Shockey expected to be hospitalized overnight

New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey says that everything will be OK after he was rushed to a hospital from the team’s training facilicy. Shockey suffered what were reported to be “seizure-like symptoms.”

“I am OK,” Shockey said via his personal Twitter account. “Thanks to everyone who has shown their concern. Don't worry about me, I will be fine.”

According to NewOrleans.com, Shockey is expected to remain hospitalized over night as they run tests on him to determine what happened.

“I talked to Jeremy from the hospital and the good news is he’s feeling better and everything looks real good,’’ Saints coach Sean Payton said. “He’ll likely finish up his tests and spend the night in the hospital. They don’t know if it was dehydration or what. That’s what they’re going through right now. They just want to make sure it’s nothing more significant than that.’’
