The New York Jets defense prides itself on being aggressive and getting after the passer.

Unfortuantely for Gang Green, it will be without a pass-rusher that was expected to cause trouble to opposing offenses on third downs. According to the NFL Network, linebacker Jermaine Cunningham tore his Achilles and will miss the 2014 season.

Cunningham signed with the Jets late last season, after playing part of the year with the San Francisco 49ers. He began his career with the New England Patriots as a second-round draft pick in 2010.
