Calls alleged assault 'very serious matter' Brad Biggs
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has weighed in on the arrest of Dez Bryant.
While prosecutors have yet to announce whether or not they will pursue charges against the wide receiver, who allegedly assaulted his mother, ripping and tearing her bra, Jones has sounded off.
“We take it very seriously,” Jones said from the team’s training camp in Oxnard, Calif., according to the Dallas Morning News.
Jones indicated Bryant is receiving counseling but wouldn’t talk about the possibility of any discipline.
“We don’t have any answers here today to how this thing is going to pan out,” Jones said. “But it is a very serious matter.”
