From NYDailyNews.com:

INDIANAPOLIS - Braylon Edwards wasn't happy. After beating fill-in CB Jacob Lacey for an 80-yard touchdown in the second quarter, Edwards saw only three more passes thrown his way in Sunday's 30-17 AFC title loss to the Colts.

Edwards said, "We didn't have the same attitude" in the second half. "Take that for what it is."

Asked if he felt under-utilized, Edwards said, "I don't know. You have to interview the players and coaches. It just wasn't the same."

Was he upset with the play-calling?

"No disrespect, but you witnessed the game," Edwards said.

Edwards (two catches for 100 yards, one drop) felt he was consistently beating Lacey in single coverage. Offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer said he called "a number of" deep balls, but he claimed the Colts used a split-safety look on downs they didn't expect.

"I don't call the plays," Edwards said. "I just run them."

What a surprise. The baby's crying again. But hey, at least he didn't drop his pacifier.

Gee, if he's so unhappy maybe he should go back to Cleveland...

B.E. is great at finding someone else to blame when things go bad. His dad too. Schottenhiemer must hates him because he went to Michigan I guess. Trust me Jets fans, he's more trouble than he's worth. 5 big drops and a bunch of baggage for every 1 big play made. You better hope the teams gets smart and cuts bait with this guy instead of signing him to a long contract and big money.

Asked if he was a self-indulgent egotistical me-firster with a history of the drops, Edwards said, "I don't know. You have to interview the players and coaches."

What is it about wide receivers that make them the biggest tools in football? If you made a list of obnoxious whiners, about 90% would be receivers...

Agreed - he's a whiny baby. But what if he's right? Indy was clearly not doing anything to protect against the long-ball - maybe it wouldn't have hurt to take a couple more shots in the 2nd half? Hate to say this - but it's tough to disagree with him.

The bottom line is Sanchez stares down his primary receiver. So if Braylon isn't the number one option on a given play, Sanchez won't get him the ball.

Andy, even if he's right true professionals keep feelings like that in the locker room and the meetings. Be a man and tell your coach, not someone sticking a mic in your face.

T-Money, bottom line is Sanchez is a rookie and that's what rookies do. Give him time. He'll learn.

Gang,

This guys is the biggest ego-maniac the league has seen since TO. Incredibly childish and immature.

Phil Savage: " We just drafted the best player in the draft".

Does anybody recall this from the replay on the network ? :
As Edwards realized that he had just actually held on to a pass and was running down the sideline with the ball in his arm, he looked up at the big screen in the stadium, confirmed it was indeed, actually him, and grew a smile from ear to ear as he glowed about how good he looked on National TV at that single point in time!

I swear. Watch the replays. Slow mo' 'em if you have to.

What a jack-off!

Dan, I thought I was the only one to see that. As I was watching the reply noticed his eyes were drifting upward, "Jeesuz, the guy is looking at himself as he is running"! I yelled to my wife. We both just started laughing. Guess he was just making sure he had caught the ball.

That's an old trick Jerry Rice taught the younger receivers - if you look up at the scoreboard - it's the easiest way to see who's behind you, and if they have any shot at catching you... If Rice wasn't a prick when he did it - not sure why Braylon's a prick when he does... Could somebody address whether Braylon is actually right in his criticism? And don't say "It's not the way you go about it" - EVERYBODY agrees with that...
