Running back Mike Goodson did not take part in Thursday's off-season work as the New York Jets, with the blessing of the NFL, held him out of the practice, per the New York Daily News.

Goodson was arrested May 17 and faces drug and weapons charges from an incident where he was a passenger in a vehicle during an early-morning stop in New Jersey. Goodson entered a not guilty plea Wednesday to the five charges he faces.

A source indicated to the newspaper that Goodson, who signed a free agent contrat in the of-fseason with the Jets, could practice Tuesday.
