Lineman says he tore rotator cuff, labrum and biceps. Terry McCormick
New York Jets guard Matt Slauson was at a Wrestlemania press conference on Thursday and revealed to the Newark Star-Ledger that he played the 2011 season in plenty of pain.
Slauson said he played all season with a torn labrum and rotator cuff in his left shoulder and a torn biceps as well. After the season ended, he underwent surgery to fix the problems.
"I knew something was wrong, but I was like, 'OK, I'll keep on playing as long as I can play,' and I was able to get through it all," Slauson said.
