Trade swaps pair of disappointing tackles. Terry McCormick
In a swap of disappointing tackles, the New York Jets have traded benched right tackle Wayne Hunter to the St. Louis Rams in exchange for Jason Smith, according to NFL.com.
Hunter was benched this week in favor of Austin Howard. He had struggled in preseason the week before against the New York Giants.
Smith, who lost his starting job to Barry Richardson, was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2009 draft.
