Receiver returns to team he played for in 2009-10. Terry McCormick
The New York Jets got their man on Tuesday, claiming Braylan Edwards off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Edwards caught 88 passes in a little less than two seasons with the Jets, but since that time has been a vagabond in the NFL, bouncing from San Francisco and then to Seattle and now back to the Jets.
The Jets need a receiver due to the knee injury suffered Sunday by Stephen Hill.
