The New York Jets cut wide receiver Braylon Edwards, ending his third stint with the AFC East franchise.
Edwards, 30, has been dealing with a leg injury during training camp.
The Jets are now down to 75 players.
A former third overall pick for the Cleveland Browns and a one-time Pro Bowl selection, Edwards has a lot of talent yet never fully realized that potential.
Edwards was cut after the Jets signed Mohamed Massaquoi. He has previous stints with the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks.
