The New York Jets cut six players to get down to 75 players. That includes wide receiver Jacoby Ford and former New England Patriots second-round cornerback Ras-I Dowling.
Ford has 57 rareer receptions for 848 yards and three touchdowns. In three preseason games he had three receptions for 19 yards and three kickoff returns for a 23-yard average.
Dowling had six special-teams snaps in the first two preseason games. He didn't play against the New York Giants.
The Jets also cut wide receiver Michael Campbell, tight end Colin Anderson, fullback Chad Young and defensive end Anthony Grady.
