The New York Jets placed veteran wide receiver Laveranues Coles on waivers Tuesday, ending his latest tenure with the AFC East club after two days of service.
He received one game check.
In 2009, Coles played for the Cincinnati Bengals, catching 43 passes for 514 yards and five touchdowns.
For his career, he has caught 674 passes for 8,609 yards and 64 touchdowns.
He has played for the Jets three times, and has also played for the Washington Redskins.
