The retooled New York Jets are beginning to take shape as the team announced that John Idzik will take over as the team's new general manager.

Idzik had been vice president of football administration for the past six seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Jets official website also cited a report from Adam Caplan that the Jets have hired former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg for the same position in New York.
