Tight end, receiver both battling hamstring injuries. Terry McCormick
The short-handed New York Jets could be even more short-handed Monday night against the Houston Texans.
The Jets are already without receiver Santonio Holmes, who was lost for the season with a Lis franc foot injury.
Now, ESPNNewYork reports that tight end Dustin Keller and receiver Stephen Hill are both likely to be out of the game this week with hamstring injuries. Fullback John Conner may be on the shelf as well with a hamstring problem.
Defensively, the Jets are, of course, without cornerback Darrelle Revis, who is lost for the season with a torn ACL. Nose tackle Sione Pouha is also likely out this week due to a back injury.
