Figure includes $7.5 million of his 2013 salary. Terry McCormick
Santonio Holmes' less-than-fantastic finish for the New York Jets this season won't be affecting his wallet any.
The New York Post reports that by Holmes still being on the Jets roster today that he will now be guaranteed $15.25 million, including $7.5 million of his salary for 2013.
Holmes' attitude soured on his Jets teammates and coaches toward the end of the season, but the club maintained that the high-priced wide receiver would be back next season. Now it appears that is indeed the case.
Holmes had 51 receptions for 654 yards and eight touchdowns in 2011 for the Jets.

They should be drafting and developing their own players instead of going for these quick fixes. That is why they are in the position they are in right now. There are no shortcuts in the NFL.
Wow. Way to run a team, Rex.

Big mistake. Way too much money to pay a guy with a history or immaturity issues that also isn't a real WR1. They should be looking at Colston.
