The New York Jets have re-signed linebacker Garrett McIntyre.

McIntyre had 19 tackles and two sacks last season.

He wasn't given a restricted free agent tender, but returns on a conventional one-year contract.

In 2012, McIntyre had 3.5 sacks.

A 6-foot-3, 255-pound former Fresno State player, McIntyre started three of 13 games played last season.

He also played on special teams.

In three seasons with the Jets, he has 42 games with 10 starts and 5.5 tackles and 8.5 tackles for losses.
