The New York Jets are displaying interest in veteran free agent safety Ed Reed.
Will a potential reunion take place between Jets coach Rex Ryan and his former defensive star with the Baltimore Ravens now that Reed has been cut by the Houston Texans and cleared waivers?
Ryan has said he has discussed Reed with general manager John Idzik.
"I could say absolutely, yes, I'd like him on our team," Ryan said. "The big picture of right now, the current football team, I'm probably not the right guy to make all those decisions. I think sometimes there's a comfort level in knowing guys, without question, guys that certainly played well for you, I'd like those guys, without question."
