Jets sign Aaron Kia, cut Green, Stommes

Tackle signed, wide receiver, tackle released Aaron Wilson

The New York Jets signed undrafted rookie offensive tackle Aaron Kia, the team announced.

And the team placed wide receiver S.J. Green and offensive tackle Matt Stommes on waivers.

Kia tried out for the San Francisco 49ers earlier this month.

A 6-foot-5, 290-pounder, Kia was a second-team All-Western Athletic Conference selection last season as a senior.

Green had played in the CFL for the past three years.

Stommes signed with the Jets after going undrafted out of Minnesota this spring.
