The New York Jets have signed veteran quarterback Brady Quinn, another development that doesn't bode well for Mark Sanchez with rookie Geno Smith expected to start.
Quinn's arrival coincides with the release of Graham Harrell and parting ways with Greg McElroy via an injury settlement.
Quinn worked out for the team today and last played for the Seattle Seahawks.
Sanchez is due an $8.25 million guaranteed salary and is sidelined with a bruised joint to his throwing shoulder.
