The New York Jets swapped out their offensive guards today, signing Chet Teofilo and placing Marlon Davis on waivers.
Teofilo (6-foot-3, 329 pounds) signed as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in April and was waived in June.
In two seasons at the University of California, he made eight starts. Teofilo moved to the offensive line as a sophomore after spending his red-shirt freshman year as a defensive lineman.
Davis (6-foot-2, 309 pounds) signed with the Jets as a free agent in May.
He originally signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent last year, before being waived in September He played four years for the University of Alabama and started 26 of 38 games.
