The New York Jets signed kick returner Darius Reynaud,
They placed Josh Cribbs on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers previously worked out Reynaud, a former Tennessee Titans return specialist Darius Reynaud.
Reynaud, a 5-foot-9, 201-pound running back with 3,185 career return yards and three touchdowns, played collegiately at West Virginia.
He has previous stints with the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants.
Last season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Reynaud became the 16th player in NFL history to return two punt returns for a touchdown in one game.
He was released after muffing a punt that resulted in a San Francisco 49ers touchdown and negated a potential Titans comeback in the fourth quarter.
