The New York Jets general manager search is getting nearly as large as the candidate list for the Chicago Bears head coaching vacancy.
According to the New York Daily News, the Jets have expanded their search to include former Bears general manager Jerry Angelo, Steelers director of football and business administration Omar Khan and Dolphins assistant general manager Brian Gaine.
Chargers’ director of player personnel Jimmy Raye, who lost out to Tom Telesco for the GM spot in San Diego, is a possibility as well. So are Montreal Alouettes general manager Jim Popp and Seahawks vice president of football administration John Idzik.
And so the search continues. There is no word yet as to whether the new Jets GM would be required to get a tattoo of his wife in a Mark Sanchez jersey engraved on his arm.
