Tackle Jeff Otah won't be staying with the New York Jets, after failing his physical with the club, according to the New York Daily News.
Otah has been bothered by knee problems the past two seasons with the Carolina Panthers, playing in just four games. The Jets acquired him with the understanding that he needed to pass a physical within seven days after camp opened in order for the trade to go through.
Otah's rights now revert back to the Panthers, and the Jets are still looking for depth at tackle.
