Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown canceled his speech on NFL history at the rookie symposium, because he was tired.

According to what Brown's wife, Monique, told the Cleveland Plain Dealer, her husband was not ill, but simply worn out from 10 days of travel. The NFL had sent out a memo saying Brown had canceled due to illness.

Brown apparently has plans to attend the 50th reunion celebration at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August.
