Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay will wait another two months before he sets foot in court.
Via the Indianapolis Star, Irsay's trial, in which he faces operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in the body charges, has been moved to Oct. 30. It was originally scheduled for Aug. 28 before a continuance was granted.
It's alleged that he was driving under the influence of either oxycodone or hydrocodone the night of March 16. Irsay is also expected to be facing a suspension from the NFL in regards to this matter.
However, it's still unclear when a suspension could be levied. With players, it's often not until the criminal proceedings have wrapped up. But with Irsay, the NFL's image could take another hit if it waits to act.
