While the new collective bargaining agreement makes rookie contracts mostly a formality, it is still noteworthy when the No. 2 overall pick comes to terms on his contract.
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Saturday that tackle Luke Joeckel of Texas A&M has signed his rookie contract.
Joeckel has been making the move to the other side of the line for the Jaguars, transitioning to right tackle in the NFL after being a left tackle in college.
Terms were not immediately disclosed on the contract.
