Denver Broncos coach John Fox got a three-year contract extension, according to FOX Sports.

Fox is now under contract through the 2016 season.

Fox has gone 34-17 in the regular season and 3-4 in the playoffs.

The Broncos were routed in the Super Bowl last season by the Seattle Seahawks, but also won the AFC West division title each of the past three seasons.

The Broncos had a shoddy performance in the Super Bowl, but Fox remains one of the better coaches in the NFL.
