New York Giants middle linebacker Jon Beason revitalized his injury-plagued career this season after being traded from the Carolina Panthers.
He wound up starting 10 games for New York, recording 65 tackles and an interception.
Now, the pending free agent hopes to return to the Giants and sign a new contract.
“I know it’s something that we both want to get done,” Beason told the New York Daily News. “We’ve expressed interest that they want me back and I told them that we want to be back. The thing about it is, it’s got to work for both parties. Though you anticipate that it will, you never know.”
