Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Jonathan Martin broke his silence, addressing his allegations that he was bullied by offensive guard Richie Incognito.

Incognito allegedly left a racially charged voicemail on Martin's phone. Incognito has denied Martin's allegations with most of their teammates taking Incognito's side.

Incognito was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. Martin was placed on the non-football illness list.

“I’m a grown man,” Martin told Tony Dungy in a portion of an interview that aired on NBC News tonight. “I’ve been in locker rooms. There’s vulgar languages in locker rooms. One instance doesn’t bother me. It’s the persistence of it.

“I wish I would have had more tools to solve my situation. I felt trapped, like I didn’t have a way to make it right. It came down to a point where I thought it was best just to remove myself from the situation.”
