Report says Jaguars running back open to being traded. Terry McCormick
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew apparently isn't on board the proverbial train that owner Shahid Khan spoke of in addressing the player's holdout.
In fact, according to NFL.com, Jones-Drew is open to jumping off the Jaguars train altogether, with MJD saying he might be open to a trade.
Khan's comment of "Train is leaving the station. Run, get on it." apparently did not sit well with the Jones-Drew camp.
Of course, anyone dealing for the running back whose contract has two years remaining, would probably have to pony up a new contract as well. His current deal has about $9.4 million remaining over the final two seasons.
