Jaguars can fine running back $30,000 for each day of camp missed. Terry McCormick
Holdout running back Maurice Jones-Drew has been placed on the reserve/did not report list by the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com.
The Jaguars can fine Jones-Drew, who wants his contract renegotiated after leading the NFL in rushing last year, $30,000 for each missed day of training camp. However, usually when players finally do report, all is generally forgiven, especially if a new deal is agreed upon.
But the Jaguars have dug in and say they will not rework Jones-Drew's contract. So this situation may still have more twists and turns yet to play out.
